The prices are not fixed but it is likely to be available in the first week of September for 299.99. The brand new playstation 3 slim looks really slick and the price is a good deal for any console. I will definitely keep my eye out for this ps3 slim deal if I am buying a playstation 3.
Accompanying this announcement is that the current gen Playstation 3 console also will drop in price to 299. A specific release date was not given but most retailers are showing a release date of Sept 1st for the new playstation 3. Wow, this is a super good ps3 console deal.
